SldH(polyol dehydrogenase)
An enzymes function as the main polyol dehydrogenase in Gluconobacter suboxydans IFO 3255. It contains two subunits sldA and sldB. sldA is the main functional subunit, and the sldB has a chaperone-like function to process the SLDH polypeptide into a mature and active form.Active site of SDH is oriented toward theperiplasm. This enzyme could catalyze the erythritol to the L-erythrulose with the coenzyme PQQ.
